Biomes RMS 7 - S. Kopp

Hii, my full name is Sumer Nicole Kopp(:
I have one sister, her name is Amanda Ames.
She is in college at Columbas State, she's 21.
I have 3 cousins that im real close with they are :
Ashley she is 14,Alicia is 15, and Justin is 7.
My best friend ever is Brianna Dawn Grace! (goober)
My others are: Kenzie,Danielle and Erika. I <3 them!
I have 1 cat,1 dog,1 rabbit and 2 turtles. I like my rabbit most haha.
I am involved in cheerleading for football and basketball.
My favorite colors are red,blue, purple and yellow.

Brown Algea

Plants facts:

Kelp plant is located near the shore line where it holds onto rocks with roots called hold fasts.
Organisms that need light, such as tropical coral reefs and their algae, are found in shallow water of the ocean.
Kelp has an anchor, a long stem, a flotation bulb and long wide leaves. This is to keep the plant in a location.
Different plants have bladders to help make them float.

Animal facts:

Many animals have different colors to help them blend in with something to hide from predators.
They have sharp teeth to help catch their prey.
Animals have sleek bodies to help make it easier for them to glide smoothly through the water.
They have gills that allow them to breath under the water.

Climate facts:

The water near the poles are very very cold and often frozen over which then it forms ice glasiers.
The climate of the ocean does not vary much throughout the season change. It doesnt change because the water does not heat up or cool down quickly. The ocean carries warm and cool currents that heat or cool the land it goes by.
Some scientists estimate that the oceans contain as much as 50 quadrillion tons of dissolved solids.
It is very cold and completely dark in the midnight zone. Water pressure can be as much as two tons per square inch.
